  I made one of the hardest desicions I've ever had to make on Monday.... Many of you know my cat Grendel wasn't doing very well and suffered heart and kidney failure... Over the weekend a blood vessel burst in one of his eyes and didn't stop. Tom and I brought him to the vet yesterday to discuss with the vet our options. We all came to a mutual decision to put him down. The poor guy's quality of life was gone for he had stopped eating and was very uncomfortable. He went quick and painless...   So for over a month now Grendel hasn't seemed very interested in eating. Tom and I have had to feed him in the bathroom and coax him to eat. We thought maybe it was his eyes because we changed everyone over to metal bowls because Indiana and Lilly had feline acne. Then we thought maybe he can't breathe or maybe his teether were bad. I decided to check his teeth last night after feeding him tunafish instead of his regular food. WOW! He is missing a few plus his gums are so bad they have covered a couple of his larger teeth!
